Ken grew up as the fourth generation in the family’s retail business. Main street businesses struggled in the 1990s as shopping malls and big parking lots were more attractive. After 103 years, the business closed, and the building was sold. That wasn’t the end of Ken’s dream though. After many years of talking with his father-in-law, he finally realized that the way to deliver the help business and families need was to become a licensed professional.
